THE BED & BREAKFAST EXPERIENCE - A warm welcome awaits your arrival. Our rooms are all named after coves and beaches around our headland. All rooms have Freeview TV, tea & coffee facilities with various choices of teas and coffees.

2 rooms are en-suite, 2 double rooms have private shower and shared toilet, 1 twin room with shower and shared toilet. Please click here to view our rooms' availability.

BREAKFAST

Is served until 9.15am each morning, early breakfast is not a problem, nor are any dietary needs if I am given notice.

Start with some juice; move onto fresh fruit and homemade yoghurt, then on to the Wurzell "Full English" - Local Bacon, local Sausages, our eggs, our tomatoes (July-September) Mushrooms. Hash-browns and beans can also be served.

Finally finish off with toast (often homemade bread), jams and marmalade, tea or coffee.
There is a variety of different choices including vegetarian sausages, Wurzell eggs cooked as you like. Please ask if any specials are available.

If you are here in July-September fresh Mackerel may be on the Menu, but we don't usually know until the morning they arrive.

PACKED LUNCHES

With notice I am happy to make packed lunches, they consist of 1 x round sandwiches, Crisps, fruit, piece of homemade cake, and chocolate if you're lucky.

BEDROOMS

All rooms have tea/coffee facilities, along with slippers, dressing gowns and toiletries.

GARA:

A double en-suite: Shower, toilet, and small sink. King size bed, with views out over the patio, green fields and Dartmoor.

GUNROW:

A double en-suite: Low ceiling, with a solar power shower, toilet and sink. 4ft 6" wooden bed, with views out over the farmyard and walled garden, Dartmoor in the distance.

BLACKSTONE:

A twin room 2 x 3ft6" beds (Can be joined to make a super king with notice) Solar power shower room with sink. Toilet shared down the hall. Views over the garden towards Dartmoor.

CELLARS:

A small double room 4ft6" wooden bed, with walk in electric shower in room, and sink. Toilet shared down the hall - ideal single occupancy room for long stay guests. Views over field to sea.

BEACON:

A double room, 4ft 6 devan bed, solar powered shower room. Shared toilet shared down the hall.

HILLSEA is our Guest Lounge



The guest lounge has a free view TV and DVD player, soft comfortable chairs, table, board games and DVD for children, tea & coffee facilities, wood burning stove for those chilly evenings.

BREAKFAST ROOM

  • "Big Bess", is situated in this room, she is a very large wood burner, and in the winter months controls our central heating, and any extra hot water we may need.
  • WiFi is available in the Breakfast room.
  • Large dining room table and chairs, breakfast is served here.

THE GARDEN

PATIO:

You are welcome to sit on the patio, and enjoy the views and sounds of our quiet countryside.

WALLED GARDEN:

Steep slate steps lead you down into the garden, small amount of vegetables, flowers, spacious lawns.

PARKING

Gravel parking for 4 vehicles at the front of the farmhouse.

We politely ask you NOT to wear shoes/ dirty socks upstairs. Slippers are provided but please bring your own if you wish. This is a health and safety issue with being a working farm, and we appreciate you respecting our request. We are sorry, but we do not accept DOGS or PETS.
